Bethany became World Champion in patterns in Rome

Bethany Martin has a 3rd degree black belt in Taekwando and represents England internationally, in which she excels. She was selected to go to the World Championships in Rome where the LLFFY invested £570 towards her travel to weekly training sessions in Bristol and flights to Rome.

She comments “The World Championships were very successful as I came away World Champion in patterns and got a Silver medal in sparing. The LLFFY allowed me to get to National training, as otherwise it would have been too expensive, and by funding the trip to Rome, so therefore making it all possible”.

The LLFFY panel wish Bethany every success in her future and look forward to seeing her achievements as she continues to represent GB.
